Bio
Michael has been in the behavioral health field since 2011. He specializes in providing mindfulness in a welcoming and refreshing manner and believes that DBT not only treats various symptoms but also considers it to be a broad life application theory.
Michael was drawn to DBT for the cognitive and behavioral aspects which are highly structured and well organized, along with a strong body of evidence-based research supporting its effectiveness. Michael enjoys working with his clients within a collaborative alliance. Personally, he has seen his clients who diligently follow the DBT protocol define and create a life worth living.
Michael is also an avid cyclist and enjoys exploring Atlanta’s food scene with his family during his spare time. He is abundantly grateful to be part and play a role in the treatment team at Atlanta DBT Center.
